Seal Cutting
Most of my teachers before I study in the UK focused on Chinese traditional art. One of my teachers is a specialist in seal cutting. I learned from him. My teacher was an artist, so his seal cutting was based on his understanding of calligraphy art. My seal cutting works were based on calligraphy and also my designer's mind.
All these seals are handwritten and handmade by iron knife-pen. Furthermore, my digital seal-cutting works also make me have chance to research on how to digitalize my hand scripts. This is part of my hobby, but it helps me a lot in professional practice.
